Not the best site. Mainly seasonal pitches with ok facilities (old but clean) but very loud music playing in the toilet/showers at all times. The owner had her music playing fairly loud which could be heard and heard several times shouting at her children, their visitors had parked on the one way road and so you couldn't get pass. The wardens were lovely and helpful. Not our cup of tea

Wonderful site! Perfectly situated, close to the A1. Also close to Lincoln and Sherwood Forest. The site is very well maintained, the pitches are great too. Electric is 10 amp, which means you can't run all the appliances - but it does the job. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Friendly lady that runs the place. Nice area for the kids to play around. Will definitely be back on our way either up or down the country.

Very expensive at £43 a night (two adults and our teen daughter) Facilities are ok but don't match the price tag. No hot water in dishwashing area; in the female washrooms, only 2 showers for the whole site. The dog walk is a small stretch of grass (waterlogged) - we first visited this site over 12 years ago and it's been waterlogged every time, albeit with quite large gaps between our visits. One of our bookings was cancelled by the site owners because of the site being under water. The gravel pitches go some way to addressing this as far as usability goes, so some improvements have been made. The site seems to be largely occupied by seasonal pitches, the occupants of those are extremely friendly and helpful, they definitely made our experience better. Be aware that there's an additional £10 required at booking in for a barrier fob, which will be refunded upon return, they tell us. Booking in at the site office is chaotic, although older gentleman who showed us to our pitch is very pleasant and gave all the necessary information. The location is great, we like the area. Unlikely to return to this site with prices this high, for the standard of the facilities, and the early departure time of 11.30am.

It Was A Very Cosy Campsite To Pitch Up And Get Some Nice Rest. However, I Find It Not So Good That If You Have A Child Over The Age Of Five And They Are A Different Gender To You They Are Not Allowed To Come Into The Toilet With You. The Rest Of It Was Okay. But Overall 3 - 5

Really nice well run and well kept site. Toilets spotlessly clean . Friendly and professional owners. Pleasant walk into Tuxford for everything youd need Restrooms: Spotless Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly but not much space on site for walking although not far along a non busy road and I'm sure you could find miles of routes. We didn't as our dog is not up to it now

We love this caravan/tent park. The restrooms are basic but very clean, freezing though. I wouldn't risk having a shower at this time of year, something might drop off. The playground is a great facility, just before the orchard. Come autumn you can pick your own fruit. Dogs are aloud, there is a path to stroll along when the sun is setting. Picnic areas are where you fancy resting. Wander pick your spot and relax in the beautiful sunshine. The staff are very friendly and welcoming, always there to help.

After booking a tent pitch over the phone we arrived at Orchard Park and spoke to the warden in the office who was friendly and polite, we then was let in and shown where we could pitch our tent up. We had the option to have an electric hook up if we wished however we chose not to, the spot was ideal as it was an adults only area however a few dog walkers failed to see our tent and proceeded to let their dog foul outside our tent which wasnt pleasant but they did clear it up. The shower and toilet facilities was good and well maintained with easy access. The train was abit of a hindrance at night whilst going to sleep because it was quite loud when it went past. We came early afternoon and only stopped one night but we couldn't see much on offer in terms of things to do but overall a really nice place with some excellent caravans to look at and I would recommend.
